Oklahoma Division Commander Urges Action

Gentlemen,
I have been around the SCV and MOSB for many years. And I can honestly state that from my vantage point the ship of state of the SCV is foundering. The current CIC is bent upon a personal crusade of aggrandizement and petty politics. He or his coterie selectively mislead the SCV masses.
For instance, in Asheville, it was the Commander in Chief who was in absolute and complete charge of the Agenda. But according to circulating reports, it was the Past CIC's and their "parliamentarians" which slowed the convention. Wrong! Instead of pursuing a middling course of cooperation and joint endeavors, the CIC staked his path in inflammatory rhetoric and a collision course of constitutional discord. The perceived lack of achievement and action in Asheville rests with the CIC and with no one else.
Further, in addition to his own questionable conduct, the CIC has surrounded himself with a handsome selection of political hacks and shills that the SCV has ever witnessed. They are men of limited talents, but boundless ambitions. They echo not unity of Gordon and Lee, but the viciousness of Tammany Hall and Jay Gould.
The most discordant member is Adjutant in Chief John Adams. Adams is a long time critic of the MOSB and is known to threaten with expulsion or suspension any persons or camps who disagree with him. Randy Kerlin of Florida ran afoul of Adams, who then had Kerlin's SCV membership suspended. Kerlin was ultimately reinstated by the national GEC in October of 2002 after weighing the charges. However, Adams still maintains that Kerlin was merely forgiven, not exonerated.
In another questionable act of common sense, on August 22, 2003, Adams, who serves as the Secretary of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Inc., a Mississippi corporation, sent the following email to the members of the SCV GEC. Adams emailed,
"Some time ago, I advised her (TWICE) NOT TO CONTACT ME AGAIN. When the bitch persisted, I signed her email address up for some 250+ porn, lesbian, and bestiality websites. I am sure she appreciated the love letters from "Mr. Binks" - who is black and sports a 30" "tallywhacker"! After that, I never heard from her again."While the woman Mr. Adams is speaking to is no friend of the SCV, is this how we want our national officers to behave? Is this conduct actionable in a court of law? Is this "conduct unbecoming?" A few days later, Adams would reference in official emails another SCV member as a "Fag" and another as a "criminal computer hacker."
Interestingly, while this exceptionally poor behavior is being displayed for all the GEC members to observe, there has been no corrective admonishments made by either the CIC or the Chaplain in Chief. Perhaps Adams' conduct, while deplorable, does not raise him to the same standards as they judge others (or have "judged" others.....).
Or maybe they just need Adams' continued vote around the GEC table, and thus will not admonish him.
Vaclav Havel, the famous Czech author, wrote that the people of Czechoslovakia
"live[d] within the lie." The oppressed people did not believe what their Government told them, but they lived like they did. Havel wrote that "the people fell into an ideological pseudo-reality, based upon their fear, their silence and their capitulation to the Government's Big Lie {half-truths and deliberate misrepresentations}. It was only when the people looked hard and exclaimed that the "Emperor Has No Clothes," that progress and stability were achieved.Hopefully we in the SCV will not be too late.
